Looking Out

In this post,
I would like to again thank my mom,
So I’ll say that;

Anyone who would call my mom “stupid”,
Is not to be trusted,

Anyone who thinks they “understand” me more than my mom,
Is likely to be toxic,
delusional,
and another person I must avoid,

Anyone who thinks my mom “harmed” me and who thinks they’re the one to “fix” me might never see how bad of an affect their efforts to “help” are truly having on me,

And unlike so many,
I would like to thank my mom,
For continuing to know what’s truly best for me,
And for working so hard to be there for me,
Unlike so many who think they “understand” me,

I want to thank my mom for working so hard to continue looking out for me,
