Person #1: Dude just fucking get over it!
Person #2: I thought you said that you would “never invalidate” my “feelings”!?
Person #1: And I’m validating your feelings by telling you what you need to hear!
Person #2: And what I’m hearing is that you don’t want to hear what I feel a need to get off my chest without sending unwanted feedback that makes me feel even worse!!
Person #1: You can either take my advice or not bro..
Person #2: And you can either be a good friend as you claim to be, or allow your ego to say something nasty once I vulnerably open myself up to you!!
Person #1: But I’m trying to help!
Person #2: Well it’s making me feel worse!!
Person #1: But you don’t realize how it is helping!
Person #2: And you don’t realize how much worse it’s making me feel because you’re not the one who feels what I feel!!
Person #1: This conversation is over. It can’t go in any positive direction at this point.
Person #2: Wow, thank you for validating my feelings as you said you would! You are a true friend… ASSHOLE!!!

Person #2 abruptly hangs up the phone..
