Since critical thinking is not culturally valued by most people,
a famous person does not need to act intelligent to remain liked by millions of people,
The person just needs to get into the spirit of deep visceral connection,
Even if it’s through killing brain cells to kill the social anxiety,
Even if it’s through yelling nonsense and/or creatively rapping about how “great” they are that many others love hearing,
Essentially,
If it sounds good and gives others a good time,
Then there’s no intelligence required,
Since a hedonic good feeling,
Does not require,
Intelligent critical awareness,
And will this cultural value help civilization last..?
Doubt it..,
Yet regardless,
I don’t know if I’ll feel that bad,
When the civilization of which I have felt rejected within so frequently,
Falls apart
